Take a italian long roll and slice it down the middle .
Take olive oil , cider vinegar and sprinkle it over the inside of the cut open roll .
Depending on what kinds of meats you like add them to the roll .
Also slices of whatever kind of cheese you like.
Take a tomato and a Sweet Vidalia onion and dice them up . DICED not SLICED
Pile the diced up tomato and onion on top of the meat .
Then sprinkle more Olive oil and Cider vinegar over the diced tomato's and Vidalia onion.
Take Oregano and salt and pepper and sprinkle it all over the top .
Ever since I had a submarine sandwich made this way at Santoro's Sub shop in Peabody Mass .I have made these the same way for over 50 years . It is great .
