how do i freeze jalapeno peppers

I have a counter full of home grown jalapeno peppers.

Can I freeze them whole?

I would wear thow away plastic gloves to prepare this.  Wash, dry take off stems.  If you like them HOT...cut in half or chop them.....if you want less heat take out the seeds.................freeze them in small freezer bags, get the air out, mark date & freeze for 6 months.
