If it was cooked and then frozen it would last 6 months...............if you froze it without cooking it...up to 2 month.....that is in a plastic zip loc..............with the vac pack it will last a little longer.

We cook the Italian hot sausage....I put a little water in the pan and poke it to get out the excess grease.......then cook both sides..........dump the grease out............then put in tomato sauce and garlic and peppers and cook it until it is done....they suggest an internal number of 165...............I cook it until the sauce thickens are the peppers and garlic are cooked..........be certain to stir it........you don't want that to burn.  Then we let it cook off and we pack it 3 or 4 to a package and a cup of sauce or more.  Wipe the bags off and we freeze them flat on a tray until frozen.  Be certain to mark & date.
