what can i use instead of vanilla extract in making ice cream

i want to make ice cream but i have no vanilla extract and i live in morroco so its hard to find it here

Can you not get vanilla pods either? try ebay they sell everything.

They also call them vanilla beans.  You might be able to find an online place to call.
How far are you from Marrakesh?  There a big shopping area there that has imported spices.  They are advertizing vanilla beans...........other fresh spices.

I like to use liquors such as a coffee flavored Kahlua, a rum, a pineapple rum, coffee brandy, all these things give a little kick in pizzazz with the sweetness of the extract, use your imagination and you can come up with anything even a chocolate liqueur
