how can I freeze homemade soup

I love homemade soup and would like to both freeze some and can some. Got any help for me  I want to can for our food pantry...I hate to say this but for home canning you are okay but if you can for a food bank or other place you have to be certified in Pa......other states are similiar............it is probably safer to freeze, leave about 1 inch headspace for freezing.

Put in container, leaving expansion room at top, cover, label and freeze.   When freezing a lot of anything it is a good idea to separate as much as possible and stack AFTER frozen.   This gets items solid in least time and fresher.
