how do I freeze fresh cauliflower

I have a huge head of cauliflower and want to freeze some of it. can I freeze it fresh or does it have to be cooked first?

rinse it and take the florets apart and soak in salt water to make sure no bugs..............then get a pot of boiling water going..............drop them in..............boil for 3 minutes to blanch them.......................have a big container of ice in water ready to cool them off fast.................drain.....pat them dry..........make portions in VAC PAC and mark & freeze.
