can i freeze fresh green beans

Gather all the beans..........wash them in running water...........only take the end of....don't break them....keep the vitamins in the whole beans........have ready a big pot of rapid boiling water...........put the beans for 2 minutes.........take them out and give them an ice bath...................cool them down rapidly this is the blanching process...........put them on paper towels when they are cold...dry them off....I spread them on a tray and flash freeze.......then check them in 1 to 2 hours........and then bag and freeze them.  I then write the date and produce on the label.

You can but you must blanch them first.
