I have known people who freeze milk in cartons and use as "ice" in cooler when camping or traveling, economy when family goes out!

It thaws as you drink it while saving space in food storage and keeping things cool until gone.

When we are going to have a lot of snow I freeze milk in the big freezer.  It works for me.  Make sure that you defrost it in the fridge and mix it well before opening.
