How do I keep buns from getting freezer burn?

I put them in Ziplock Freezer bags, squeeze all the air out and then put them into a brown grocery bag that I fold over and staple shut and they still come out with freezer burn after just a couple of weeks. What is the problem? It is really frustrating.

I have better luck with the vac pac...........that gets all the air out..............mark, date & freeze only for 8 weeks.........do them in small quantities.
