can i still can cucumbers if they start to dry?

I want to can dill pickles out of my cucumbers in my garden. I have had them sliced in water in my fridge for 3 days and they seem to be dry..can i still make pickles out of them?

We take them right from the garden clean & dry them and slice them into sterile jars then add the liquid brine and clean off the tops leave 1 inch head space and put them into the canner................we never soaked them............I don't know that method..............
