Can you freeze dumplings?

I'm making Chicken and Dumplings.  Can the dumplings be frozen?

yes but I would freeze the cooked dumplings on a tray....................and then the chicken & sauce seperate or the juice will be drawn into the dumping and they will fall apart.  If you make serving sizes in heavy duty plastic freezer bags, get the air out, mark, date & freeze.
