Removing the taste of fennel in soup

I made pea soup & by accident I cooked fennel in a crock pot with my pea soup recipe. How can I cover up the fennel tast? Thank you in advance for your help on this matter. Linda Dee. E Mail is singinglindadee@yahoo.com

You have to get all that fennel out of the soup......strain it....pick it out...........I don't know how you can mask it that is pretty strong stuff..........maybe 1 or 2 tablespoons straight vinegar.  Then taste it..........add potatoes, carrotts, celery & onion and cook it in the pea soup in small pieces.........if that does take it out add ham cubes to it...........if it does not take it out.............start another soup.
