can molassiss that is about 2 years old and seems crystalized be reconstituted?

my molassis is beyond it expiry date by about 2 years. I know that crystalized honey can be reconstituted so I am wondering if this can be done with molassis as well?

I remember that molasses was kept in the cabinet for long periods of time growing up.  As long as their is not discolored or mold and tightly capped you could take some out, smell it, nuke 30 seconds at a time and stir it.we did not have a nuker then parents heated it in a black frying pan on very very low..until back to liquid.  I did this with honey also.
