how to chop cooked bacon in a food processor hot or cold

I am trying to find out whether it is better to chop bacon in a food processor while it's still warm or when it is chilled ?

chop it cold......................if you chop it warm it going to be ground up not chopped.................I cook it until it is crisp and use paper towels to drain the fat.............and chop it when it cools off on a chopping board and sharp knife.
