Can spices , herbs etc. (garlic powder,onion powder, basil etc.) be frozen to preserve them?

I want to order spices etc. in larger more cost effective amounts.

The shelf life of these id a long time anyway, as long as you store them properly. Use bottles with tight lids, inside a cabinet, dry, cool. I have herbs and spices over a year old. They only lose a slight bit of flavor stored correctly. NOT on open shelf, or over stove or where light can reach them. Putting them in fridge may cause moisture. To form in jar and spoil them.
