after it is cooked you can make a butter sauce with garlic, salt & pepper.....or if you like parsley or want to use seasoned salt instead of salt

My husband's mother in Europe brown butter with breadcrumbs and spread it over the top......we only do this once in  while as we use real butter.  We added a little salt & pepper to it while browning.

I should mention that you could also make a white sauce with grated cheddar cheese and let if melt.......and put it over the veggie and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top....or if you like scallions you can chop them fine and use them.
