I would ask your doctor but I will tell you what ours said..............eat good heathly food but eat less of it and more veggies and gradually I am losing a little every month.  He told me to stay off the scale......it went on slow and it's going to go off slow.

I agree with Josie and also avoid too much sugar and starch. Try to eat grains instead of Bread and other bakary items. This is good for your health and good for Diabetic and Cholesterol too. In the mean time add more protein to your meals.

Research organic Virgin  coconut oil on the web. It's health benefits are tremendous and adding 3-4 Tbs daily to your diet will normalize your weight. It is delicious and can be used anywhere you would use butter, just slather it on and enjoy it. It is GOOD for you  as you will find when you research it.

I understood the question to be how can I GAIN weight eating healthy food?  A rare problem, but some people are actually looking to gain weight.

Try things that are high in good fats and calories - things like nuts or avacado.  Also try things like nut butters which are easier to digest than raw nuts, but pack a good 100 calories/tbsp - approximately depending on what kind you try.

Also, simply eat more healthy food at each meal and snack more often.  Take nuts and seeds or a good trail mix with you or have banana and peanut butter as a mid-afternoon snack.
