can fresh swede and carrot be frozen

I have just bought a fresh swede and bag of carrots but only need half can I cut them up freezer bag them n put in freezer please

carrot yes you can but not swede

Yes for carrotts but only can be used to soup & stew or cooked buttered carrotts.

Swedes are in the cabbage family related to turnips......You could cook & freeze in small batches cook 15 to 20 minutes in water don't overcook.  also called rutabaga's and in Scotland called neeps.  Some  store them in the root cellar, ours is 33 to 39 degrees.
