I cook a couple pototoes..........set them aside..............if you like carrots & celery you can cook that with it................then open a can of sauerkraut..............strain the juice....save it.......put the canned pork in the pot throw in the strained sauerkraut..............add 1 cup of water and stir............heat...........add only enough of the brine for taste.........when it is heated add the cooked potatoe and other veggies.........taste it again to see if the salt is right.    serve with crusty bread and a hot beverage.............If you don't like potatoes in the mix.....you could make mashed potatoes instead.
