my spiral ham is too large,  can I freeze half of it and for how long?  Does it get watery when unthawed?

take it off the bone...freeze the bone in a freezer bag, use that to make bean soup......

Make serving sizes using heavy duty small freezer bags.  get all the air out, mark date & freeze.  not much water upon defrosting just put how many bags you need to a meal into the fridge to defrost, use on a sandwich or in a casserole or chopped up in bean soup.  Should last 6 to 9 months in a zero freezer. I freeze just about everything.  When you have room to do this you are saving on your food bill.  Also makes great ham breakfast with eggs..........Happy New Cooking Year.
