How do you make potato patties from mashed potatoes and bacon leftovers?

Brought home leftovers of 2 cups of cooked mashed potatoes with chopped bacon in it. I want to make some potato patties to fry up for breakfast, so I need to know how?

Put the potatoes in a large bowl.............break up thecooked bacon real small.................add an egg.........some fresh parsley, some grated cheese.........if you like onions....about 2 tablespoons chopped real small....salt & pepper.............mix well....too soft...add a little flour.........flour your hands.....use an ice cream scoop....to take mix out into your hand with flour...get flour on both sides..........pat it into a round or oblong cake............and use the big frying pan and put a little butter in it and get it hot................brown the cakes on both sides............serve with eggs, rye toast and morning coffee and a piece of fruit or applesauce.
