Is it best to freeze homemade yeast rolls in the pan prior to cooking or after?

The ones you buy in the store are partially cooked for you to finish at home....  If you cook them first totally they can dry out when reheated.  Freezing them might work, but you would have to let them totally defrost before baking them.  Good luck with these homemade rolls.
