what to do with navy beans other than baked beans

i would like to know  a recipe for navy beans that uses garlic ,oil and some kind of flavouring for a spread  that i can use that is  easy to follow .

You can cook them until tender but not over cooked......then rinse in cold water and cool them down with cold water..............when then are cool................drain and put into a bowl, add chopped fresh garlic or chopped onions, a little olive oil a touch of vinegar, salt & pepper and that's a salad.................

The above dip or spread that you mentioned is just what you said.....cook the beans until very soft........................drain & rinse in cool water.........put about a cup at a time in the blender and blend until very smooth.....add a little oil salt & pepper..........if you like cooked garlic....spinach.............whatever you like......add it now use on crackers...........if you like olives instead........easy to change.......and you can freeze the cooked unseasoned beans and make up a batch when you see it.
