Ziplock has 2 gallon heavy duty freezer bags.  Cakes are delicate so carefully slide it in the bag and try to get the air out carefully and seal date & freeze.  It must be totally cooled in the refrigerator and you could even freeze it for an hour and then put the bag on it is easier to do it that way.

Make sure cake is completely cool before locking into ziploc bag or cling wrap then freeze.

As long as a cake is not iced it can be frozen, I cook for our cricket club and bake cakes a head all season and they freeze perfectly well you can ice them when they come out of the freezer, I hope this helps, just wrap them in tin foil or greaseproof paper or a freezer box.
