The recipe calls for blanched almonds.  How do you blanch almonds?

Put the almonds in a shallow bowl...............boil water.......pour water overthem and leave it there about 1 minute........the skins will come off easier.  Rub them between your fingers.  You don't want the almonds to get soft.....
