HOW DO I STORE FRESH PICKED LIMA BEANS?

PULLED OUT ALL LIMA BEAN PLANTS.   LOTS OF BEANS!   I PICKED INSTEAD OF TOSSING OUT.  HOW DO I STORE THEM?

You can can them or dry them and enjoy some fresh, bake them like baked beans.  The first year I planted them we had them coming out our ears.............I had to dry them.  I left them dry on the vines.  After they were totally dried out.........we shelled them into 4 gallons glass jars with lids.........I left the lids off for a while and then gently closed them.  We had beans for a long time.  You also could blanch them and vac pac & freeze them or use heavy duty freezer zip loc bags and mark date & freeze.
