Can fish be frozen after it has been cooked but has been in the fridge for 2 days after cooking?

I was expecting a group of people over for supper 2 days ago and we were going to eat battered, fried fish with side dishes. Unfortunately that didnt happen and I ate a little of the fish but there is a lot of fish left over can I freeze it now after the fish has been lying in the fridge for two days?

Safer to fry it all and freeze it into portions.  We use vac pac and have a zero degree freezer.  I would have fried it & flash froze it as soon as I heard they were not coming.  I would not have waited 2 days.  Some of the fried things will get a different taste when it sits in the refrigerator.  If you don't have a vac pac.........you could fry, drain on paper towels put on a big tray and freeze and then put into zip lock bags and then into a 2 gallon zip lock bag. date and freeze.  I reheated in a low frying pan.  Nuking it makes it too damp for me, I like it crispy.  Make some homemade tartar sauce.....................just mayo and a little relish & couple drops of lemon & parsley.............if you don't like mayo you can use sour cream.
